What is Anointing Oil?

Anointing oil has been used for centuries by high priests who were instructed by God to put a special oil on people and things with the purpose of consecrating, sanctifying, or to set it apart for the Lord. Afterwards, what was anointed with oil was revered as holy and unto the Lord. It still is to this day.

So, why use anointing oil now?

- for healing

- for protection

- for spiritual warfare

- to share the Gospel

In the New Testament James said, "Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? Let him sing psalms. Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord." James 5:13-14

Why Oil of Joy?

Oil of Joy Essential Anointing Oil came from a desire in my heart to protect my children when God showed me that He can take care of them better than I can. He instructed that I needed to anoint and pray for them. I went to get anointing oil, but didn't like the smell. I also felt that it needed a fresh look. The Lord lead me a on a journey of scientific and spiritual study that lead my desire to bridge the gap between Biblical practices and current times. With my background in nursing and educating patients on how to take care of themselves upon discharge, I knew I had to create something approachable and easy. That's why every Oil of Joy roller or spray comes with a "How To" prayer card in English and in Spanish for children and adults. It is meant as a launch pad into prayer with the expectation and hope that you expand your prayers from there. I also wanted something desirable to our dynamic generation and to empower the struggling and the strong Believers prayer life to activate their faith in Jesus. 1 John 5:14-15

When using anointing oil in conjunction with prayer, it is important to remember that the oil is a physical symbol of your faith in Jesus Christ. The oil itself has no special powers. It is a symbol of your faith at work. Heb. 11:1
